We are engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of European broadleaf trees. We buy and sell lots of standing trees and logs in Italy and Europe. The species we are mainly interested in are: poplar, oak, American walnut ‘canaletto’, national walnut, chestnut, ash, cherry, elm. We buy and sell to private individuals, traders, sawmills and lumber mills. We carry out controlled pruning and felling of endangered trees ourselves.
If you have logs to sell, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will directly take care of an inspection and a free evaluation of the logs. Payment of the agreed sum will be made in full upon delivery. If you have the opportunity, we will be happy to welcome you to our warehouse for log delivery. Alternatively, we will take care of loading the goods at your construction site.
You can contact us if you are a private individual or company and have a standing lot of plants to sell. We will directly take care of an inspection and a free evaluation of the lot. Payment of the agreed sum will be made in full prior to felling. If it is necessary and agreed between the parties, it will be possible to use the service of chipping the branches or removing the stumps so that the plot is arable.
If you have a dangerous tree, you can take advantage of our felling and pruning services. We will directly take care of an inspection and a free estimate. Depending on the needs of the construction site, we will decide whether it is best to proceed with felling using the basket or the tree climbing technique. Depending on your needs, it will be possible to carry out a complete cleaning of the construction site by removing trunks, branches and, if necessary, stumps.
Oak wood is characterised by its high hardness, toughness and resistance to impact. Hardness, stability and durability are characteristics that are refined with seasoning. It is a weather-resistant wood that is not afraid of humidity and saltiness.
American walnut wood is also known as ‘Canaletto’ walnut and is used to make furniture and flooring suitable for any type of interior or exterior room in the home.
It is a very valuable wood, among the best in terms of quality, ease of processing and strength. It has a straight but also wavy fibre with a medium texture. Sapwood and heartwood are well separated, the former is whitish while the latter has a brownish-grey colour with darker shades.
Chestnut is a valuable, light and resistant wood. It is a semi-hard wood with a dense grain. It is particularly used for window frames due to its high resistance to moisture and weathering.
Poplar is a light and light wood. It is a wood particularly suitable for packaging, for the production of eco-friendly fruit and vegetable crates and is sometimes used in carpentry.
Ash wood is used primarily for its elasticity and strength. This wood is used to construct bent parts in boat building, furniture construction and the construction of sports equipment.
Due to its characteristics, cherry lends itself very well to use in carpentry, especially in the production of furniture and solid wood flooring. It is a hard wood type, easy to work with, is very compact and therefore difficult to split or deform and does not absorb moisture.

Initially, Trucco Legnami S.A.S. dealt with the purchase of lots of standing trees, felling and trading their logs. Today, with the contribution of his sons Alberto and Federico, the company is active in the trade and felling of batches of European broadleaf trees, as well as in the purchase and sale of standing timber, in Italy and Europe.
